This online book launch was hosted by Emergence Education and guided by Jeff Carreira, whose rare ability to both inquire and contribute shaped the event into a genuine three-way dialogue between Jeff, myself, and my partner in the group work, Anne Sweet. It became a living expression of the relational field at the heart of The Space Between Us.
We spoke about how the group first began — including looking back to the shared history that seeded our capacity for deep intersubjective work — and how the discoveries described in the book unfolded over time. Short readings from the book were woven naturally into the conversation, opening into explorations of the relational field itself, the conditions that allow it to arise, and the wider implications for cultural transformation, collective intelligence, and awakening together.
There was strong enthusiasm for the newly emerging Between-Us Groups, which we introduced for the first time at this event. The final part of the launch opened into a lively and generous exchange with the audience, whose depth of engagement shaped the direction of the dialogue and gave the event its closing momentum.
Rather than a conventional author interview, this launch became a shared inquiry — a living demonstration of the very field the book seeks to illuminate.
A shared inquiry
