This work begins with a simple but demanding invitation: a willingness to be transformed.
Most of us arrive carrying understandable habits of self-protection. Over our lives we have learned to defend our identities, preserve our certainties, and maintain familiar ways of being. None of this is wrong; it has helped us survive. Yet these same habits can also prevent us from participating fully in the deeper possibilities of the shared transformational field.
The purpose of this work is not to improve ourselves, but to become increasingly available to what wants to emerge through authentically expressing ourselves — together.
Everything that follows rests upon this single orientation. We have come to call it an ecology of participation.
Every meeting therefore begins again with the same invitation:
Am I willing, today, to be transformed by what wants to emerge between us?
