A Glossary of Resonances across Time and Space
Preface
These notes trace the reverberations of a single current—the living movement between emptiness and form, stillness and becoming.
Through the centuries it has surfaced under many names: Tao, Christ, Sophia, Self, the Ground, the Field.
Each entry here is a listening post, a moment where that current found voice.
This is not a glossary of fixed meanings, but of resonances—glimpses of the same light refracted through different minds and moments.
To read it is to walk through echoes: each idea a doorway, each figure a voice in the same timeless conversation.
Together they form a constellation of understanding—not a system to be mastered, but a way of keeping company with the mystery that continues to reveal itself as our own deepest nature.
“However men approach Me, even so do I welcome them; for the path men take from every side is Mine.”
— Bhagavad Gita 4.11, trans. Eknath Easwaran
