Meeting beyond Fixed Boundaries

A New Possibility

Most of us begin to walk the spiritual path fuelled by a fire and a passion that emerge from a deep, unsatisfied personal longing—a heartache to fill a perceived gap that feels painfully empty. For all the ways we seem connected globally, more people than ever feel isolated and alone, stuck inside the prison of their own minds, seemingly trapped with their chaotic thoughts and emotions.

A glimpse of another possibility is often all it takes to ignite the spark that begins the search for our true home—which turns out to be nothing other than our deepest self, our boundless centre within. Every path is unique, but along the way there are usually teachers and teachings—often contradictory and frequently demanding allegiance—and it is easy to slip into the mental framework of “I haven’t got it, and I need someone else to give it to me.” One can wander through this maze for a lifetime, never fulfilling the promise that is always available.
